In Vino Veritas focuses on wine and food events, cellar purchasing and management and publishing anything food and wine related.

We are not associated in any way with the wine importer In Vino Veritas, an SAQ based company who provides wines to the Depanneur and Grocery circuit.

Carola Price is a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers, The National Capital Sommelier Guild and The International Sommelier Guild.

During sommelier accreditation testing in Nova Scotia she was one of only 2 women to earn the much lauded grape cluster pin.

With certification in hospitality management, long hours of kitchen work and dedication to higher levels of service in the food and beverage industry, Carola is always looking to use local, top quality producers and products for her menu items. She strives to find that ultimate wine and food pairing so she may teach others with the same interest.







There is no “I” in team. This company is a truly collaborative effort and I would never imagine doing it without some truly talented people.

I am a sommelier and I love what I do. What other job lets you drink wine in the morning while still in your pyjamas!

I am also quite pleased to be a woman sommelier, hard to do in an industry filled with pompous men with silver cups dangling around their bellies. My misson is simple: To take away all the pretences and make wine fun for everyone. It’s entertainment and oh so delicious.

Having lived all over the world thanks to my parents, I have seen food and wine culture first hand and I bring a little piece of every country with me when looking for new opportunities and experiences.

My motto is “eat and drink with passion”. I am proud to be Canadian. With such a bounty in this country why should we look for food and wine elsewhere!
